The Day of National Unity is a truly great and historically significant state holiday! 86 years ago, the eastern and western Belarusian lands were reunited into one country with indigenous Belarusian roots.
Throughout centuries of history, Belarusians have repeatedly and convincingly proven that by uniting, they are capable of overcoming any difficulties.
The landmark event of September 17, 1939, laid the foundation for the birth, formation, and development of our modern, peaceful Belarus. Together, we have traversed a difficult but righteous path, endured the years of the Great Patriotic War, revived cities and enterprises from ruins, and built a modern, socially oriented economy.
In the Lepel region, people know how to work, how to remember, and how to live. Unity is the foundation of our success! Only together, only united, can we implement ideas and projects that will open new horizons and preserve an independent, sovereign, and prosperous Belarus for future generations!
