Dear women of Lepel District! Dear mothers, grandmothers!

The great and sacred maternal love warms and protects us from the cradle, helps us overcome life’s adversities, to hope, and to believe in success. It doesn't matter how old we are – a mother’s kind word, her tender gaze, her wise advice are needed by both children and adults.
In the Republic of Belarus, support for families with children is a national priority. According to the Constitution, marriage, family, motherhood, fatherhood, and childhood are under the protection of the state. Much is being done in our country at the state level to protect and support family, motherhood, and fatherhood: qualified medical support for mother and child, provision of financial benefits, the "Family Capital" program, benefits for housing construction and acquisition, social services; guarantees enshrined in labor and pension legislation.
The work of motherhood has always been and will be the most honorable and significant, deserving the highest awards. 46 women of Lepel region have already been awarded the Order of Mother. Annually, representatives from our district become laureates of the award named after Hero of the Soviet Union Z.M. Tusnolobova-Marchenko. 26 from our district have already been awarded this deserved award.
As of today, our district has 396 large families, 586 single-parent families, and 30 foster families.
On this day, we express special gratitude to our hero mothers, mothers of large families, women who raise children alone, and women who have become second mothers to orphans and children left without parental care. Your resilience and kindness deserve the highest respect.
Your maternal care, patience, and faith in your children are the foundation upon which a strong and healthy society is built.
Cherishing family traditions, a woman-mother also realises herself in her professional activities. Today, women are capable of any profession and position: you drive buses, fly into space, manage enterprises, and hold public office. You manage to do everything – home, family, children, work, which deserves special admiration and respect!
We wish you robust health, peace of mind, and harmony. May your children bring you joy with their achievements, grant you only happy moments, and surround you with constant care and attention.
