Today we celebrate Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus!
July 3rd has forever entered the history of Belarus as the brightest page in the struggle of the Belarusian people for freedom and independence. This day is a symbol of national pride and remembrance for us.
The history unites all of us Belarusians of different generations. The events of the Great Patriotic War are impossible to forget, as it became the greatest trial for every Belarusian family. And our people, despite everything, endured, showing the world the strength of spirit, unity, and true patriotism.
July 3rd – this day is dear to every heir of the generation of victors, to anyone who respects the feat of the front-line soldiers and partisans, who is devoted to the memory of those fallen in battle for our lives and freedom, for our Motherland.
Please accept our most heartfelt congratulations on the main state holiday and the 81st anniversary of the liberation of our country from the Nazi invaders.
Independence Day is a reminder of the value of every minute of peaceful life, every day of our country's freedom and independence. It is a symbol of the unity of our society, the continuity of generations, and respect for traditions.
Today we live in an independent country that independently sets its development priorities. In a short period, the country has proven its strength and is building dialogue with its neighbours based on the principles of mutual respect.
This is a celebration for those who defended and continue to defend the independence of their native land, for those who hold dear and understand enduring values, who live and work for its prosperity, and feel genuine pride for a beautiful and bright Belarus.
Independence comes at a high cost! A very high cost! We, Belarusians, paid the most terrible price for it – the lives of every third person!
Belarus is a peaceful country! And we bring this principle to the global community! In every new global conflict, we see a personal tragedy; we hear the echo of the Great Patriotic War. And we will do everything to prevent this from happening again.
Please accept our most sincere wishes for health, happiness, and peace! May there always be a clear, peaceful sky above our native Belarus, tranquility in people's hearts, and well-being in their homes!
