On September 29, at 18:38, the operational control centre of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations received a report of a house fire on Budyonny Street in Lepel.
When rescuers arrived at the scene, smoke and fire were observed inside the residential building.
As a result of the fire, the ceiling, walls, and property were damaged.
There were no casualties.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The considered version of the fire's cause is the violation of electrical network and electrical equipment operation rules.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds: fires can be avoided by observing fire safety rules. Do not operate faulty or dilapidated electrical wiring. In case of fire, immediately call 101 or 112. Provide your name, surname, address, and the cause of the emergency, and report if there are people in the burning premises.
