On September 7, at approximately 3 a.m., the rescue service received a report of a garage fire on Depovskaya Street in the town of Lepel.
Upon the rescuers' arrival at the scene, the garage was observed to be on fire.
As a result of the fire, the roof, ceiling, and contents of the garage were destroyed, and the walls were damaged.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The considered version for the cause of the fire is the violation of the rules for the operation of electrical networks and electrical equipment (emergency mode of operation of the electrical network).
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds: fires can be avoided by observing fire safety rules. Do not use faulty or dilapidated electrical wiring. In case of fire, call 101 or 112 immediately. Provide your name, surname, address, and the cause of the emergency, and also report if there are people in the burning premises.
