On September 13th at 19:37, rescuers received a report of a fire at the grain cleaning and drying complex in the agro-town of Stai. Upon arrival of the Ministry of Emergency Situations units at the scene, fire was observed inside the drying chamber. At the time of ignition, the shaft was loaded with 60 tons of a grain mixture of barley, wheat, and oats.

59.99 tons of grain mixture were saved by the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees in conjunction with the enterprise's workers. 4 units of Ministry of Emergency Situations equipment were operating at the scene.
