On March 18, the Ministry of Emergency Situations duty service received a report of a fire in the village of Yurkovshchina. Upon arrival of rescuers at the scene, open burning of the roof of the house over its entire area and an adjacent shed was observed. As a result of the fire, the roof was destroyed, and the walls and property were damaged in the house and shed. The cause of the fire was careless handling of fire while burning dry vegetation by a resident of a neighboring property. Two people have died in the region as a result of vegetation burning. Do not burn dry vegetation, and do not light fires closer than 10 meters to buildings.
