At 21:28 on August 30, 2015, the duty dispatcher of the operational control center of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations (ROChS) received a report of a bright glow over the village of Zabolotye, Staysky rural council. Following this report, duty rescue teams were dispatched. Upon arrival at the scene, it was established that the roof of a household and an outbuilding at the address: village of Zabolotye, house 54, was undergoing open combustion. As a result of the fire, this structure was completely destroyed by flames. The roof and external walls of an adjacent house were also damaged. Currently, two main versions of the incident are being investigated: careless handling of fire and arson.
