On September 26, at 16:52, the rescue service received a report of smoke in a house on Vitebskaya Street in the town of Lepel.
Upon arrival at the scene, smoke was observed inside the residential building.
The owner of the house was hospitalised at the Healthcare Institution "Lepel Central District Hospital" with a diagnosis of thermal body burns and poisoning from combustion products.
As a result of the fire, the floor in the house was damaged over an area of 1 sq. m. and property was damaged.
The cause of the fire is being established.
