On December 17, at approximately 2 p.m., a report was received by the rescue service concerning a shed fire on Zelenaya Street in the town of Lepel.
Upon arrival of the rescuers at the scene, open combustion of the shed roof was observed.
As a result of the fire, the shed's roof, ceiling, and walls were damaged.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The considered version for the cause of the fire is the violation of the rules for the operation of stoves, heat-generating units, and devices.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations urges owners of private properties with outbuildings on their plots: do not operate heating appliances in violation of fire safety rules, ensure their repair and timely cleaning of chimneys from combustion products to protect yourselves and your property.
