Fire Prevention Work in Residential Sector

This week, the Inspection of Supervision and Prevention of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted an inspection assessing the safety of living conditions for categorized citizens. The aim of such events is to reduce the number of fires caused by citizens' non-compliance with fire safety rules in residential buildings. Currently, preventive work has been carried out in the settlements of the Slobodsky rural council. Households of disadvantaged families, single elderly citizens, and disabled individuals were visited. Preventive discussions were held with homeowners on compliance with fire safety rules in everyday life, and attention was drawn to preventing children from being left unsupervised. In addition, during the winter period, ongoing explanatory work is conducted with residents of settlements regarding the inadmissibility of going out on thin, unfrozen ice, as well as the timely clearing of roofs from snow and ice to avoid emergencies.
