On January 12, Minsk /Elena Prus - BELTA/. Almost all districts of Belarus have achieved 100% employment for negligent parents, Zhanna Shchemeleva, a consultant at the employment policy department of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, told BELTA correspondent. According to the results of 2011, the employment of negligent parents reached 99.9% nationwide. At the same time, Minsk, Mogilev, Gomel regions and Minsk achieved 100% employment of obligated persons. In Grodno region, this figure was 99.7%, in Brest region - 99.8%, in Vitebsk region - 99.9%. In Belarus, over 5,413 people obliged to reimburse the costs of maintaining children under state care were employed in permanent jobs last year, of which 4,338 were placed against reserved quotas. By the way, in 2011, jobs were reserved for negligent parents at almost 7,000 enterprises and organizations of the republic. The list of such enterprises and organizations for 2012 is currently being specified, Zhanna Shchemeleva added. She informed that last year, labour, employment and social protection bodies received decisions from city and district courts concerning 6,601 obligated persons, of which 5,555 people applied to the state employment service independently or were brought there by law enforcement officers. According to her, the problem of labour discipline compliance remains acute: last year, 2,330 employed obligated persons evaded work for up to 10 days within the last three months, and about 3,000 people - for more than 10 days. Evasion of work by obligated persons and their violation of labour discipline affect the level of actual earnings. At the same time, the state employment service tries to direct this category of unemployed citizens to jobs where the wage level allows them to meet their monthly obligations for reimbursement of child maintenance costs. -0-
