The harvesting campaign is progressing rapidly in the district, with combine harvesters working efficiently in the fields from morning till late evening, and drivers busy transporting the grain. Many machine operators have already managed to harvest more than 500 tonnes, and the day is not far off when the name of the first thousand-tonne producer will be announced. It is very pleasing that not only experienced but also young combine operators are actively involved in the harvest and achieving high work indicators. To heartily congratulate the workers on their successful harvests and to express warm words to them, Vasily Yusikov, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the Trade Union of Construction and Building Materials Workers, Sergey Vovk, Chief Technical Inspector of the Regional Committee of the Trade Union, and Sergey Martynovich, Chairman of the District Organisation of the Trade Union of Agro-Industrial Complex Workers, visited the field. For a long time, the work of a grain grower has been celebrated in songs. They helped the harvesters in their difficult work – lifting their spirits, giving them work energy and optimism. This good tradition, which has spanned decades, has been preserved to this day. To heartily congratulate the grain growers with songs, employees of the car club of the organisational and methodological centre of the culture department also went to the field. …Combine harvesters are moving through the sea of ripe, large ears of corn – combine operators Sergey Pligavka and Ruslan Grabovenko of OJSC "Chareyshchina" are working efficiently, as are their assistants Dmitry Puzatko and Andrey Kulakov.

…Warm verses are heard from the stage addressed to the grain growers. Tatyana Evtushenko, a methodologist of the organisational and methodological centre, warmly congratulates the field workers. Vasily Yusikov, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the Trade Union of Construction and Building Materials Workers, also addressed the workers with warm congratulations. For his success in the harvest, he presented a Letter of Appreciation, memorable gifts, and cash bonuses to Ruslan Grabovenko and Andrey Kulakov – the leaders among the youth crews. Warm congratulations were also extended to Sergey Pligavka, who has been achieving a thousand-tonne harvest for several years, and Dmitry Puzatko. Mechanisers were also warmly welcomed from the stage by Sergey Martynovich, Chairman of the District Committee of the Trade Union of Agro-Industrial Complex Workers, Lyudmila Usovik, Director of OJSC "Chareyshchina", and Chairman of the trade union committee of the agricultural organisation.

Warm, melodious chords of Belarusian folk and popular songs flow from the stage, performed by Tatsiana Yautushenka, Aliaksandr Mikhno, and Alena Hancharenka. The machine operators did not spare their sincere applause for the artists. And since every minute counts for the crop growers, they soon returned to their work.

On the same day, employees of the motor club of the district organizational and methodological center also visited the machine yard of OJSC "Ladasna" with a concert. In addition to the Lepel artists, the farm workers were also delighted by the singing of the director of the Kamenskoye rural cultural and leisure center, Anzhela Pyatrishcha, and the well-known local singer, Viktor Papko.

Poignant chords sound, and the soul feels brighter. A sincere song helps in work and in life, and therefore, rural workers have many more significant successes ahead...
