Rules of safe conduct on railway transport facilities

 We appeal to parents with a request to explain to children the rules of conduct on the railway, paying special attention to the fact that this is not a place for games. Any crossing of railway tracks in places not equipped with pedestrian crossings is prohibited and poses a threat to life and health. It is practically impossible to prevent a collision with a pedestrian who suddenly appears on the track, as the braking distance of a train is at least 400 m.
 It is forbidden:
1. To walk on railway tracks.
2. To cross railway tracks in places not equipped with pedestrian crossings.
3. To cross railway crossings when the barrier is closed or the red signal of the crossing light is on.
4. At stations and on sections, to crawl under wagons, to climb over auto-couplings.
5. To walk along the railway track closer than 5 meters from the outer rail.
6. To walk on railway bridges and tunnels not equipped with pedestrian walkways.
7. To cross the track immediately after a train of one direction has passed, without making sure that no train of the opposite direction is approaching.
8. To use headphones and mobile phones when crossing railway tracks.
9. To climb electric poles.
10. To touch overhead power lines lying on the ground.
11. To climb into wagons, tanks, and other railway facilities.
12. To cling to a moving train.
Remember- Turn off headphones when crossing railway tracks!
- Do not crawl under carriages! Do not climb over automatic couplers!
- Do not jump onto a departing train.
- Do not exit a carriage until the train has come to a complete stop.
- Do not play on platforms and tracks!
- Do not stick your head out of windows while the train is moving.
- Exit the carriage only on the side of the boarding platform.
- Do not walk on the tracks.
- At the station, children may only be under adult supervision; small children must be held by the hand.
- Do not cross tracks in front of an approaching train if the distance to it is less than 400 meters. A train cannot stop immediately!
- Do not approach the rails closer than 5 meters.
- Do not cross tracks without ensuring there is no train coming from the opposite direction.
The main tragedies are caused by the careless, irresponsible attitude of adults towards children. In the absence of parental control, children climb onto carriage roofs, wander carelessly along railway tracks, ride on carriage steps, and simply seek entertainment on the railway.
