The Lepel Inter-district Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora reminds that according to clause 150 of the Rules for Hunting Management and Hunting.

It is prohibited:

to use hunting weapons that are technically faulty;

to use cartridges that do not match the given hunting weapon;

to board or disembark from a vehicle with a loaded hunting weapon;

to remove a assembled hunting weapon by the barrel(s) from a vehicle;

to shoot at noise, rustling, at an unclearly visible target, in fog, heavy snowfall, twilight, against the sun and under other conditions of poor visibility, as well as at flying birds below 2.5 meters in conditions of limited visibility;

to shoot and be with a loaded hunting weapon at a distance of less than 200 meters from the nearest building of a populated area;

to shoot in the direction of people, populated areas, agricultural animals, vehicles from smooth-bore hunting firearms at a distance of less than 500 meters from them and from rifled hunting firearms – less than 2 kilometers;

to aim hunting weapons, including unloaded ones, at people, domestic animals or their accommodation;

to fire unnecessarily, to cock an external hammer weapon or to disengage the safety of an internal hammer weapon;

to shoot from a boat across the rowers or other hunters in the boat;

to finish off a wounded game animal with the butt of a weapon.
