It is prohibited to: use hunting firearms with technical defects; use cartridges not suitable for the given hunting firearm; board or disembark from a vehicle with a loaded hunting firearm; remove an assembled hunting firearm by the barrel(s) from a vehicle; fire at noise, rustling, an unclearly visible target, in fog, heavy snowfall, twilight, against the sun, and under other conditions of poor visibility, as well as at a rising bird below 2.5 metres in conditions of limited visibility; fire and be with a loaded hunting firearm within 200 metres of the outermost building of a populated area; fire in the direction of people, populated areas, farm animals, vehicles with smoothbore hunting firearms at a distance of less than 500 metres from them and with rifled hunting firearms – less than 2 kilometres; point a hunting firearm, including an unloaded one, at a person, domestic animals, or their accommodation; fire unnecessarily, cock an external hammer firearm, or release the safety catch on an internal hammer firearm; fire from a boat across rowers or other hunters in the boat; dispatch a wounded game animal with the butt of a firearm.
