It is prohibited to: use hunting firearms with technical defects; use cartridges not suitable for the given hunting firearm; board or disembark from a vehicle with a loaded hunting firearm; retrieve an assembled hunting firearm by the barrel(s) from a vehicle; fire at noise, rustling, an unclearly visible target, in fog, heavy snowfall, twilight, against the sun, and under other conditions of poor visibility, as well as at a bird taking off at a height of less than 2.5 metres in conditions of limited visibility; fire and be present with a loaded hunting firearm within a distance of less than 200 metres from the nearest building of a populated area; fire in the direction of people, populated areas, farm animals, vehicles from smoothbore hunting firearms at a distance of less than 500 metres from them, and from rifled hunting firearms – less than 2 kilometres; aim a hunting firearm, including an unloaded one, at a person, domestic animals, or their accommodation; fire unnecessarily, cock an external hammer firearm, or disengage the safety catch of an internal hammer firearm; fire from a boat across rowers or other hunters in the boat; finish off a wounded game animal with the butt of a firearm.
