This was announced to a BELTA correspondent by First Deputy Minister of Education Alexander Zhuk, who is participating in the final meeting of the Committee on Education of the Minsk City Executive Committee. According to Alexander Zhuk, this year the separate competition for urban and rural applicants, admission benefits, etc. will be maintained. The First Deputy Minister reported that, having analyzed the results of the 2011 centralized testing, the Ministry of Education is working to establish the level of the minimum positive score for the 2012 centralized testing in all subjects for admission to universities. This norm will be developed by the Ministry of Education before the start of the 2012 admission campaign. -0-
