The Council of Ministers has approved the list of urban development projects for which development contracts are to be placed in 2021. The corresponding Resolution No. 649 of November 16, 2020, was officially published today on the National Legal Internet Portal, BELTA reports.
The list includes 24 urban development projects. Four projects each will be developed for the Brest and Vitebsk regions, three for the Gomel and Mogilev regions, and five such projects are planned for the Grodno and Minsk regions.
In particular, master plans will be developed for cities such as Baranovichi, Vitebsk, Novopolotsk, Gomel, Mogilev, and the satellite city of Zhabinka.
In addition, master plans will be developed for the "Braslavsky" special tourist and recreational park, the "Novolnya" resort of national significance, and the "Vileyka" and "Chigirinka" recreational zones of national significance.
A number of comprehensive territorial planning schemes for various districts of Belarus, a detailed plan for the historical center of Mozyr with a project for the regeneration of historical buildings, and detailed plans for other areas will also be prepared.
