Representatives of 12 nationalities from 18 districts and the city of Vitebsk will take part in the regional festival of national cultures, Belarusian cuisine and the game "Nas z'yadnala zyamlya Belarusi" on November 3, the Vitebsk Regional Methodical Centre of Folk Art informed BELTA.

Representatives of 12 nationalities from 18 districts and the city of Vitebsk will take part in the regional festival of national cultures, Belarusian cuisine and the game "Nas z'yadnala zyamlya Belarusi" on November 3, the Vitebsk Regional Methodical Centre of Folk Art informed BELTA.

The event will be held for the first time in Vitebsk on the territory of the Cultural and Historical Complex "Golden Ring of Vitebsk "Dvina". Previously (since 2001), it was held in Miory.

In Vitebsk, several venues will be organised starting from 12:00. At the "Smachnaya" (Tasty) venue, guests will attend a presentation of Belarusian dishes under the motto "Healthy Eating is a Modern Lifestyle". Cuisine of various nationalities will also be presented.

Another venue will introduce folk craftspeople. In addition to artisans working in the traditions of Belarusian folk art, representatives of Armenian (wood carving), Ukrainian (embroidery), Russian (wood painting) and other cultures will be present. Master classes and a craft fair will be held.

Representatives of different nationalities will present their national music, songs, and literary works (in the original language) at the Concert Venue. In particular, it will be possible to get acquainted with Azerbaijani, Kazakh, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, and Jewish culture.
