"These prices are calculated based on the projected average annual exchange rate of the Belarusian ruble to the US dollar - Br22,719 and the consumer price index - 115.1%," the appendix to the resolution states.
The document instructs regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee to ensure the approval of prices for housing and communal services by district and city executive committees on a differentiated basis within the established planned settlement prices.
The maximum permissible settlement prices for housing and communal services vary slightly depending on the region. For example, for the Minsk City Executive Committee, the corresponding price for water supply is set at Br6,875 per 1 cubic meter, for sewerage - Br4,530 per 1 cubic meter, for thermal energy for heating and hot water supply - Br1,161,570 per 1 Gcal, for housing maintenance - Br1,155 per 1 sq. meter, for elevator maintenance - Br820 per 1 sq. meter, for solid municipal waste management - Br53,944 per 1 cubic meter.
Resolution No. 117 enters into force after its official publication and extends its effect to relations that arose from January 1, 2016.
