On November 16, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. Enterprises of the "Bellegprom" concern plan to increase product exports by approximately two times in 2011-2015. This was announced today by Vladimir Astrovsky, First Deputy Chairman of the concern, at the international scientific and practical conference "New in Technology and Engineering of the Textile and Light Industry" at the Vitebsk State Technological University, according to a BELTA correspondent. According to the results of the first nine months of the current year, the concern's enterprises exported products worth $521.4 million, with an export growth rate of 118%. In total, domestic light industry products are represented in the markets of 53 countries. Traditionally, the main trading partners for our enterprises are representatives of Russia, whose share in the total export volume of the concern is 68%. Approximately 13.6% of products are supplied to markets of far abroad countries, with an export growth rate to these countries of 117% for the 9 months of the current year. One of the main components of success in foreign markets is the active policy of technical re-equipment pursued by the concern. In the last two years, about $250 million in preferential loans have been allocated for these purposes. For 10 months of the current year, the concern's enterprises invested about Br252.4 billion in fixed capital, and by the end of the year this figure should reach Br315 billion, an increase of 15% compared to 2010. At the same time, the structure of investment has changed this year, with own funds of enterprises now accounting for the largest share (up to 60%), and bank credit resources accounting for another 30%. As a result, it was possible to significantly reduce the indicator of the wear and tear of the active part of fixed assets, which three years ago reached 86%. Today, this figure at individual enterprises is about 40%, noted Vladimir Astrovsky. In addition, thanks to the introduction of new technologies, the share of innovative products in the concern is about 4.6%, and at individual enterprises it reaches 40%. The labor productivity growth rate in January-October was 108%. "All this indicates that we are on the right track - it is precisely thanks to technical re-equipment and the introduction of innovations that it is possible to work successfully today and have good prospects," emphasized Vladimir Astrovsky. -0-
