To stabilize the situation at one of the oldest enterprises in the industry, it has been decided to carry out a kind of "manual sanitation". This decision was made jointly by the Aide to the President - Chief Inspector for Vitebsk Region Nikolai Domashkevich, the regional executive committee, and the "Bellegprom" concern, Vladimir Astrovsky added. This means that within three months, the enterprise will be provided with assistance and conditions will be created to reverse negative trends and overcome the current situation. For example, "Bellegprom" enterprises will provide "KIM" with a commodity loan in the form of yarn, knitted fabrics, dyeing auxiliaries, etc. on preferential terms. In addition, it is planned to draw up a debt repayment schedule and take a number of other organizational measures, Vladimir Astrovsky explained. It is assumed that with the support of the concern and local authorities, the enterprise's staff itself should demonstrate its potential and prove its ability to earn. In general, "KIM" produces a good range of products that are in demand, however, the enterprise needs technical re-equipment, especially concerning dyeing and finishing equipment, which is significantly outdated, Vladimir Astrovsky believes.
