Enterprises of the Vitebsk region are actively joining the Ministry of Emergency Situations' (MES) campaign for social advertising, the Vitebsk Regional Directorate of the MES informed BELTA.

Rescuers of the Vitebsk region continue their work on placing social advertisements on consumer goods to draw shoppers' attention to safety issues. Now it can also be seen on the products of JSC "Vitebskhlebprom": the appeal to parents "Do not leave children unattended!" is placed on the packaging of "Mishutka" cookies.

"Recently, this topic has been very relevant. Perhaps, by purchasing cookies with a message from rescuers, parents will think again about the tragic events that can happen to children left unattended," the MES emphasized.

In the Liozno district, safety is reminded by a colourful logo depicting a mischievous imp with the inscription "We are proud to have taught them!", which is placed on the packaging of cakes produced by confectioners of the local consumer cooperative.

An agreement on placing social advertising has also been reached with the management of JSC "Vesta". Bags highlighting another, but no less acute problem, are already appearing in the stores of this retail chain: smoking in bed while intoxicated.

The first to support the MES's preventive campaign "For Safety Together" back in December were the "Gorodok" poultry farm and the Glubokoye dairy and canned goods plant, placing the PR campaign logos on their products.
