Vasily Pshonko, Chairman of the District Council of Veterans and Chairman of the Council of Elderly Citizens, shared his opinion on the President's decision to postpone the increase in utility tariffs:

— The President's decision came as good news for many residents of our country, demonstrating care for citizens and their financial well-being. Utility payments are not just a formality, but a significant part of the family budget. Postponing the tariff increase helps to avoid additional financial burden during this winter period. This is especially important for citizens who are retired.

This year, the frosts are particularly severe, which means that heating costs are already quite high even without tariff increases.

The new tariffs will only come into effect in April, and for March, we will receive bills that, even with the increase, will not be so shocking.
