The final selections will take place on March 16 at the Orsha City Culture Centre "Pobeda" in a gala concert format. Two dozen finalists, who passed the preliminary selections for the children's and adult music contests, will compete for the right to represent Belarus at the forum. The performances of the finalists of the national selection for the children's and adult contests are scheduled for 12:00 and 18:00 respectively. All contestants will perform two vocal pieces. The final verdict will be delivered by a professional jury, which will include leading specialists in the field of pop art, popular Belarusian pop artists, music producers, composers, and directors.
The draw for the participants of the national selection will be held on March 15. In addition to rehearsals, contestants will be offered an excursion program in the historical center of Orsha and an engaging master class at the House of Crafts. From the early morning of March 16, the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" souvenir product exhibition and fair will open at the Culture Centre.
This year's festival will be held from July 8 to July 17. The grand opening ceremony and gala concert of the forum will take place in the Summer Amphitheatre on July 11, and the closing ceremony on July 15. Additional events are planned for July 8-10 and July 16-17. The main events of the festival will be the XXVIII International Pop Song Performers Contest "Vitebsk-2019" and the XVII International Children's Music Contest "Vitebsk-2019". The "Theatre Meetings", the street art festival "On Seven Winds", the puppet quarter, evenings at the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic, and other projects, loved by the festival's fans, will be preserved.
