Representatives of the district authorities, individual services, public associations and organizations met today at a meeting of the interdepartmental council on the rights of persons with disabilities.

The agenda includes: - Implementation of the action plan for subprogram 2 "Accessible Environment for People with Disabilities and Physically Weakened Persons" of the state program "Social Protection" for 2021-2025. - Fulfillment of the action plan of the Vitebsk regional organization of the public association "Belarusian Association of the Visually Impaired" for the Lepel district, as well as the district organization of the "Belarusian Association of Disabled Persons". - Medical rehabilitation and habilitation of disabled persons in the Lepel district.

As noted by Veronika Khombak, Deputy Chairperson of the District Executive Committee, the interests of people with disabilities should be a priority for all relevant specialists.
