Minsk hosted the award ceremony for the laureates of the International Business Award "Leader of the Year – 2025". Awards were presented in 38 nominations, with representatives of the northern region among those recognized.
OJSC "Vityaz", "Invet", "Polotskbyt", LLC "KimaBel", SE "OrshaTeploSeti", branch "PolotskVodokanal" of UP "Vitebskoblvodokanal" became laureates and Grand Prix winners. Among the best organisations was a representative of the education system – Vidzy State College.
The Grand Prix in the "Person" nomination was awarded to Petr Gishkelyuk, Director of SE "OrshaTeploSeti".
The award is held annually. The best nominees are recognised for product quality, innovation, management efficiency, social project development, and significant contribution to the country's development. "Leader of the Year" promotes the achievements of enterprises, enhances their competitiveness, and strengthens international economic ties.
The "Leader of the Year – 2025" award was held with the support of the State Committee on Science and Technology and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Belarus, and others.
