The holder of this honourable title is 31 years old. She got married four years ago. Currently, she works as a TV presenter and performs on stage as a singer.
Second place went to the contestant from South Africa, and third to the representative of Peru. The Russian contestant, "Mrs. Sevastopol" Natalia Nikolaeva, took 4th place.
The competition lasted for 8 days, with representatives from 35 countries participating. The competition programme consisted of several segments. Initially, the participants performed a rhythmic dance in jackets and with canes. This was followed by a display of swimsuits and evening gowns. Spectators were also entertained by specially invited artists and groups. In the final round of the competition, the women had to appear in national costumes or artistic outfits that spoke of their national identity.
The "Mrs. World" contest was established in 1985. It has been held in various countries around the world and three times in a row in Russia. Next year, this prestigious review will take place in Beijing. Married young women are invited to participate, with preference given to those who have children and those who are involved in charity, and actively participate in the political and public life of their countries.
