Representative of Belarus won the "Mrs. Universe-2013" contest

12 August, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. Svetlana Kuznetsova, a representative of Belarus, has won the international contest "Mrs. Universe-2013". This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by Natalia Trofimova, National Director of the "Mrs. Universe Belarus" contest.

This year, it was decided to name two winners at the prestigious international contest. One winner was chosen based on public opinion and voting results, and the second one based on the opinion of a professional jury, which meticulously evaluated the participants daily.

"After the participants' performances and a period of tense anticipation, the jury delivered its verdict. In their opinion, our compatriot Svetlana Kuznetsova is 'Mrs. Universe-2013'. The representative of Malaysia also became 'Mrs. Universe-2013' based on public opinion and voting results," said Natalia Trofimova.

Svetlana Kuznetsova is the winner of the first national contest "Miss Belarus-98". She works in the education and fashion industries and is involved in charity work. Svetlana has extensive experience participating in international contests; she was a finalist in "Miss Europe-99", a participant in "Miss World-2000", and won the title "Missis Beauty Millenium International-2012".

This year, the international contest "Mrs. Universe-2013" was held on the island of Aruba, located in the southern Caribbean Sea near Venezuela. The final show was decided to be held in the concert hall of the hotel where the participants were staying. A week was allocated for preparation for the final. Tickets were sold out in advance.

"The show began with a vibrant Latin American samba, followed by a bikini show, in which Svetlana was unmatched – best figure, posture, and stage presence! The participants' appearance in evening gowns was dazzling with beauty and splendour. The evening gown of the Belarusian representative was magnificent. The train resembled butterfly wings. Svetlana gracefully fluttered across the stage in it. Thanks to the young Belarusian designer Yulia Latushkina," noted Natalia Trofimova.

The "Mrs. Universe" contest is analogous to the "Miss World" and "Miss Universe" shows. However, its participants must be married and may have children.-0-
