Description of the planned activity

The project envisages the reconstruction of a woodworking shop with the expansion of the production base at the address: Lepel district, Domzheritsy village. The reconstruction project includes: demolition of existing buildings of the woodworking shops No. 1 and No. 2, installation of a round timber sorting line; construction of a new shop with the installation of board sawing lines and timber band sawing lines; technical modernization of the existing building for the installation of an optimisation and length splicing line for sawn timber, a line for the production of mouldings, and a waste granulation line; construction of a workshop for the production of garden and park furniture; construction of a canopy for product storage; organisation of a checkpoint; execution of works on power supply, heat supply, video surveillance, landscaping, and fencing of the production territory.

Location of the planned activity

The land plot of the reconstructed facility is located on the lands of the State Nature Protection Institution "Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve" (protection zone of the State Nature Protection Institution "Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve"), and is located at the address: Vitebsk region, Lepel district, Domzheritsy village.

Alternative options considered:

The following alternative options for the implementation of the planned activity have been considered:

I          option. Construction according to the adopted design solutions of the pre-project documentation for the object "Reconstruction

woodworking shop with the expansion of the production base at the address Lepel district, Domzheritsy village.

II Option. Implementation of the designed object north of the territory of the existing woodworking shop, with the performance of work on construction of a new shop with the installation of timber sawing lines (instead of a circular and band sawmill).

III Option. "Zero" alternative, i.e., refusal from planned economic activity.
