Description of the planned activity

The project envisages the reconstruction of a woodworking shop with the expansion of the production base at the address: Lepel district, Domzheritsy village. The reconstruction project includes: demolition of existing buildings of the woodworking shop No. 1, No. 2, drying building, existing fire reservoirs; installation of a round timber sorting line; construction of a new shop with the installation of circular sawing lines and band sawing lines for timber; technical modernization of the existing building for the installation of an optimisation and length-jointing line for sawn timber, a line for the production of mouldings; construction of a workshop for the production of garden furniture; construction of a canopy for product storage; organisation of a checkpoint; installation of fire reservoirs; design of 2 artesian wells; treatment facilities for storm runoff; execution of works on power supply, heat supply, video surveillance, landscaping and fencing of the production territory; laying of off-site fire water supply networks to Domzheritsy village.

Location of the planned activity

The land plot of the reconstructed facility is located on the lands of the State Environmental Institution "Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve" (within the boundaries of the State Environmental Institution "Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve" and its protection zone), and is located at the address: Vitebsk region, Lepel district, Domzheritsy village.

Alternative options considered:

The following alternative options for implementing the planned activity have been considered:

I. Option. Construction according to the approved design decisions of the pre-project documentation for the facility "Reconstruction of a woodworking shop with expansion of the production base at the address: Lepel district, Domzheritsy village".

II. Option. Implementation of the designed facility north of the existing woodworking shop territory, with the construction of a new shop and installation of frame sawing lines for timber (instead of band and circular saws).

III. Option. "Zero" alternative, i.e., refusal of the planned economic activity.
