According to preliminary CEC data, Svetlana Tikhanovskaya received 9.9% of the votes, Anna Kanopatskaya - 1.68%, Andrey Dmitriev - 1.04%, Sergey Cherechen - 1.13%, and against all candidates - 6.02%.
The preliminary election results were presented to journalists by the Chairperson of the CEC, Lidiya Yermoshina. "They were literally obtained manually because the Central Commission, or at least the analyst and I, only two of us, were evacuated from the House of Government at 1 AM. Therefore, we did not receive the results then. We only received them just before this briefing," said Lidiya Yermoshina. In this regard, the only result announced yesterday by the head of the Central Election Commission was for polling stations in closed facilities, such as hospitals and military units. Additionally, results from some districts were announced.
According to preliminary CEC data, 5,798,908 people participated in the election, or 84.23% of registered voters.
