This opinion was expressed to a BELTA correspondent by the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, Vladimir Andreichenko. He is participating in a meeting of the Council of Elders and the Council of Young Specialists with the participation of the current leadership of Glubokoe district in the renovated city House of Culture of Glubokoe. According to Vladimir Andreichenko, public observation is carried out in almost all countries. "I consider this a normal phenomenon. But the fact that this observation is not always objective, sometimes biased, is unacceptable in our era of democracy," the speaker believes. In the opinion of the Chairman of the House of Representatives, the assessment of the CIS observer mission is always objective because there are established rules of procedure. In addition, the people who come to Belarus are close to our country in language and mentality. "As for the observation by the OSCE/ODIHR mission, there has always been and remains a biased attitude," Vladimir Andreichenko stated. He is convinced that this is primarily due to the fact that standards and approaches to election observation have not been developed. "Many countries have already spoken about this more than once. In Belarus, this issue has also been raised more than once," he emphasized, citing the recent parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan as an example. "We need to sit down and develop these criteria, and coming here with pre-prepared conclusions (we know this, we've been through it) is simply unacceptable," said Vladimir Andreichenko.-0-
