"Gomel, Mogilev, and Vitebsk are the three regions where we must invest seriously. And not only financially, but above all organisationally. Discipline and discipline again," stressed the Belarusian leader.

He noted that the deputy chairpersons of the regional executive committees are not newcomers and they should oversee the implementation of the concept and programme for a given region. "There is a lot of work to be done in the Vitebsk region," said Alexander Lukashenko.

Despite the fact that Vyacheslav Durnov, who has been approved for the post of Deputy Chairperson of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, will be in charge of the social block, the head of state sets a general task for the entire leadership of the region: "The most important exam for you today is those integration structures (in the agro-industrial complex. – Ed.), which we have created. You must be held accountable for them."

"There is a lot of work to be done in the Mogilev region. It's good that Isachenko (Anatoly Isachenko, Chairperson of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee. – Ed.) dared to return there," the head of state continued.

"Well, and the situation we have is not simple with the so-called sanctions and so on. People's moods. Yes, many have come to their senses after 2020. You see this no worse than I do. But you must understand that there are enough people who not only think differently (thinking is not forbidden), but who are waiting for a convenient moment. You must see these people. Mobilise law enforcement agencies around you. They must act in the set direction. Primarily, the direction that the executive committee on the ground creates," stressed Alexander Lukashenko.
