Specifically, scholarships have been awarded to 92 young scientists, including 5 Doctors of Science under the age of 45, 52 Candidates of Science under the age of 35, and 35 young scientists without degrees under the age of 30. Among them are representatives of physical-mathematical, technical, chemical, biological, medical, agrarian, economic, legal, geological-mineralogical, social, and humanitarian sciences.
The scholarship recipients have achieved significant results in priority areas of fundamental and applied research that have scientific and practical significance. Their scientific achievements are used in the operations of industrial enterprises, organisations in various economic sectors, and social institutions of Belarus. The novelty of many developments is confirmed by patents for inventions and publications in leading domestic and foreign scientific journals.
The adoption of the directive is evidence of the state's support for talented young scientists and the development of Belarus's scientific potential, the press service noted.
