The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has received a congratulatory message from the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, on the occasion of his election victory. BELTA was informed of this by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"The active participation of Belarusians in the elections reflects their determination and intention to build a bright future. I am confident that the relations between the two friendly countries, Iran and Belarus, and mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas of bilateral, regional, and international interaction will become stronger than before during Your Excellency's new presidential term," the congratulatory message reads.

Masoud Pezeshkian wished Aleksandr Lukashenko good health and success, and the people of Belarus prosperity.
