On November 11, Vitebsk /Sergey Kochetov - BELTA/. New equipment and technologies in the textile and light industry will be presented at the international scientific and practical conference on November 16 at the Vitebsk State Technological University, the department of spinning of natural and chemical fibers of the university informed a BELTA correspondent. This year, one of the main topics for scientific discussions will be the application of nanotechnology in the textile industry. Thus, employees of the Vitebsk State Technological University will present for the first time ready-to-implement developments of special textile materials with metal nanocoatings. In addition, separate scientific sections will focus on "chemistry, chemical technology and environmental problems in production" and "resource and energy-saving technologies in mechanical engineering, light and textile industries". Representatives of research centers, universities and equipment development enterprises for the industry from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and Germany, as well as specialists from domestic light industry enterprises, have shown interest in the traditional scientific forum. Conference participants will discuss technical innovations, promising technologies and development trends in the production of yarns, fabrics and knitwear, clothing and footwear design. The format of the event allows specialists to exchange developments in the field of creating equipment for the light and textile industries.
