On October 13, Vitebsk /Sergey Kochetov - BELTA/. Share packages of four Open Joint-Stock Companies (OJSCs) owned by the Vitebsk region are planned to be put up for auction by the end of 2011, the regional fund "Vitsebskoblimushchestvo" informed a BELTA correspondent.
The first auction this year for the sale of securities of joint-stock companies owned by the region is scheduled for November 24. Potential investors are offered to acquire a package of almost 534.4 thousand shares of OJSC "Banon-Agro", which constitutes 25% of the company's charter capital. The starting price of the lot is set at Br4.983 billion (with a nominal price of one share at Br4.4 thousand, the starting sale price of one OJSC security will be over Br9.3 thousand). The enterprise is located in the agro-town of Rudnya, Polotsk district. The joint-stock company's charter capital is about Br9.4 billion, and the Vitebsk region owns 100% of "Banon-Agro" shares.
It is also planned to attract investors to OJSC "Vitebsk Motor Repair Plant", OJSC "Tiraspol PMK" and OJSC "Tiraspol Agrotechservice". Technical preparations for holding the auctions are currently underway, the "Vitsebskoblimushchestvo" fund added. -0-
