The Head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Regional Executive Committee Considered the District Residents' Issues Today

Today, Lepel was visited on a working visit by the Head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Major General of Militia Lyubimov Andrey Yuryevich. The first item on the agenda was a personal reception of citizens at the building of the Lepel District Executive Committee. Local specialists also participated in resolving citizens' issues. A total of 3 people were registered for the reception with Andrey Yuryevich. As part of the working trip, Major General of Militia Lyubimov Andrey Yuryevich also met with the work collective of the "Lepel MKC" branch of OJSC "Vitebsk Meat Packing Plant". The head of the Vitebsk militia informed those present about the operational situation in the region. He noted that the main efforts of all prevention entities should be focused on combating public drunkenness and alcoholism, and ensuring labour discipline within collectives. During the meeting, Andrey Lyubimov also emphasised issues of preventing crimes against minors, in the sphere of information technologies, as well as related to extremism. In addition to the personal reception and a visit to the industrial enterprise, the working schedule of the Head of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Regional Executive Committee included a visit to the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs, where he became more closely acquainted with the work of local police officers.
