A joint reception of citizens was held in the agro-town of Osintorf, Dubrovensky district, by Vasily Maksimov, Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Committee of State Control, and Gennady Dysko, Prosecutor of the Vitebsk Region, BELTA was informed by the press service of the State Control Committee of Belarus. In two hours, more than 20 people approached the heads of regional structures, with people coming collectively on housing and communal services issues. For example, residents of house No. 12 on Mayakovsky Street complained that the house repairs were not yet completed, there was dampness in the apartments, water accumulated under the floors on the first floors after heavy rains, and yard improvement had not yet begun. A similar situation occurred in house No. 17 on the same street. Complaints were received about the shortage of beds in the nursing home, and the building itself has long required repairs. Given the significance of the issue raised, after the reception, Vasily Maksimov and Gennady Dysko personally familiarized themselves with the situation in this medical facility. The heads of the State Control Committee and the Prosecutor's Office of the Vitebsk Region issued an instruction to take immediate measures to resolve the issue of completing the improvement of the local stadium, which is of interest to all residents of the village. Summing up the reception, Vasily Maksimov noted that the communication with the residents of the agro-town of Osintorf was characterized by a wide range of issues in various fields. Regarding complaints about the work of housing and communal services, the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Committee of State Control drew the attention of local authorities to the fact that emerging issues should be resolved systematically, rather than waiting for people to start complaining. Moreover, in both the Dubrovensky district and the agro-town of Osintorf, responsible services pay considerable attention to issues of repair and territory improvement.-0-
