February 10, Minsk /BELTA/. The republican youth project "100 Ideas for Belarus" for the best innovative idea in various spheres of social and economic development of the country, interesting for practical implementation, will be presented at the Palace of the Republic to the participants of the VI All-Belarusian People's Assembly during the exhibition "Together for the Future", the representative of the Central Committee of the BRSM, project manager Natalia Stolpinskaya, told a BELTA correspondent.

"For the participants of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, we will present nine developments by the winners and participants of the "100 Ideas for Belarus" project. For example, in the exhibition pavilion "Ideas for Belarus", you can get acquainted with the author's project "Viking" Universal Combined Handheld Fire Monitor" by Artem Morozov, the winner of the Grand Prix of the republican competition "100 Ideas for Belarus 2016", a lecturer at the Fire and Rescue Department of the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. In 2018, the development was adopted by Belarusian rescuers. Another winning project of the 2016 competition is "Fire-retardant materials" (project manager - Head of the Research Department for Emergency Response of the Research Institute of Fire Safety and Emergency Response of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Alexander Lukyanov). The obtained scientific results formed the basis for the development of domestic fire fighting protective clothing. The exhibition will also feature developments by young innovators from the capital, who will take part in the republican final of this year's project on February 24," said Natalia Stolpinskaya.

According to her, the "Ideas for Belarus" exhibition pavilion also houses a youth-themed location where everyone can take a souvenir photo with the hashtags #Unity! #Development! #Independence!

The "100 Ideas for Belarus" project was launched in 2011 on the initiative of the BRSM (Belarusian Republican Youth Union) and has become a hallmark of the youth organisation. "Over ten seasons of its implementation, youth initiatives have covered various spheres of human life: the institution of family and education, economy and energy saving, information, industrial, aerospace technologies, bio and nano industries, healthcare, sports and tourism, solving environmental problems, and many others. Among the author's youth developments, highly technological proposals stand out, which have no global analogues in the fields of medical diagnostics and therapy, obtaining organic fertilizers and processing industrial waste, technologies for producing original hot-melt adhesives and construction materials," the project manager summarised.
