A project to study immunity against COVID-19 has been launched in Belarus, BELTA reports, citing the Ministry of Health.

"From May 14, Belarusians will be able to participate in the project to study immunity against COVID-19. Anyone wishing to do so can donate their biological material (blood) for research on antibodies to COVID-19. This study is being conducted to assess the population immunity of the public," the department's statement reads.

The project is organised by the Ministry of Health of Belarus in conjunction with Rospotrebnadzor of Russia from May 14 to May 19. Antibody testing for residents of Belarus will be free of charge.

Registration for testing will be exclusively electronic. Those interested will be able to register and complete a questionnaire online. Access for testing registration will be open from May 12.
