The Department of Internal Affairs of the Lepel District Executive Committee regularly conducts preventive campaigns and measures to prevent domestic violence. As practice shows, crimes committed during emerging family quarrels and conflicts often surpass pre-planned, well-prepared criminal acts in their cruelty and the severity of their consequences. Every third murder and every fourth case of intentional grievous bodily harm are committed within the sphere of family and domestic relations.
