“Open the Season Without Violations!” – a preventive campaign to be conducted across the republic by the State Automobile Inspectorate from April 24 to May 4.

With the onset of the warm season, the problem of injuries among drivers and passengers of two-wheeled vehicles becomes more acute. This year, due to the anomalously warm winter, motorcyclists took to the roads as early as February. In 3 months, 12 accidents occurred on the territory of the Republic of Belarus due to the fault of motorcyclists, in which 2 people died and 11 were injured.

During the campaign, events aimed at explaining the rules of safe riding on motorcycles and mopeds will be held. In cooperation with the heads of motorcycle clubs, preventive work will be organized to increase discipline, foster mutual respect on the roads, and improve the driving culture of motorcyclists.

Raid activities are planned using overt, covert, and mixed traffic control, including the involvement of motorcycle patrols. Traffic police officers will work on roads and in settlements everywhere to prevent violations by motorcyclists. Raid groups will identify drivers without licenses, and remove unregistered motorcycles and those with structural modifications from traffic.

Dear drivers! Do not forget about road etiquette and take care of yourselves. We wish everyone a safe season opening!
