“Open the Season Without Violations!” is a preventive campaign that the State Automobile Inspectorate will conduct across the republic from April 24 to May 4.

With the onset of the warm season, the problem of injuries among drivers and passengers of two-wheeled vehicles becomes more acute. This year, due to the anomalously warm winter, motorcyclists took to the roads as early as February. In 3 months, 12 accidents involving motorcycle drivers have occurred in the Republic of Belarus, resulting in 2 deaths and 11 injuries.

During the campaign, events will be held aimed at explaining the rules of safe riding on motorcycles and mopeds. In cooperation with the heads of motorcycle clubs, preventive work will be organized to enhance discipline, foster mutual respect on the roads, and promote a culture of riding among motorcycle owners.

Raid activities are planned using overt, covert, and mixed traffic control methods, including the involvement of motorcycle patrols. Traffic police officers will work on roads and in populated areas everywhere to prevent violations by motorcycle drivers. Raid groups will identify drivers without licenses, remove unregistered motorcycles, and those with structural modifications from traffic.

Dear drivers! Do not forget about road etiquette and take care of yourselves. We wish everyone a safe season opening!
