During the meeting, the attendees were informed about the fire situation in the district and the Vitebsk region. The Head of the Department noted an increase in fires in the district. Topics covered included compliance with fire safety regulations in both domestic and industrial settings, the use of primary fire extinguishing agents in case of fires, and the necessity of equipping residential rooms with autonomous fire alarms with subsequent signal output to the Central Monitoring Unit. Particular attention was paid to the problem of burning dry vegetation during the spring-summer fire hazardous period. Valentin Eduardovich informed about the penalties for violators and provided examples of fires and burns already occurring in the region due to the lighting of bonfires, burning of stubble, and post-harvest residues.
