In February 2020, within the territory of Lepel District, employees of the District Department for Emergency Situations conducted preventive and precautionary measures at construction sites in conjunction with the mobile group of the District Executive Committee.
In February 2020, within the territory of Lepel District, employees of the District Department for Emergency Situations conducted preventive and precautionary measures at construction sites in conjunction with the mobile group of the District Executive Committee.
During these measures, a check was carried out of all available mobile (movable) cabins and other temporary structures at construction sites. Special attention was paid to the installation and operation of stoves, heat-generating units and devices, as well as the quality of training for employees of construction organizations on fire safety requirements.
During the conducted measures, the following violations of fire safety requirements were identified, namely:
Construction of a dormitory for 166 beds at KUP "DROTS Zhemchuzhina" in the settlement of Borovka, Lepel District:
- smoking is permitted in the mobile (movable) cabin;
- the autonomous fire alarm in the mobile (movable) cabin is inoperable (the power source is missing);
"40-apartment residential building on M. Gorky Street in Lepel town":
- the mobile (movable) cabin used for employee rest is not equipped with autonomous fire alarms;
- smoking is permitted in the mobile (movable) cabin;
- a non-factory-made heating stove is installed in the mobile (movable) cabin;
- fuel (combustion products) are stored in close proximity to the mobile (movable) cabin.
Additionally, during the measures, presentations were organised for work collectives at construction sites.
