This week, rescuers from the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, together with employees of the OSOVOD and the Department of Internal Affairs, conducted a raid on the district's water bodies aimed at preventing injuries among ice fishing enthusiasts. Despite the fact that the ice is no longer sufficiently strong, there are still quite a few amateur anglers on the reservoirs. During the raid, all citizens were briefed and warned about the dangers of being on the ice during this period. Leaflets and preventive talks are the only opportunity for rescuers to awaken a fisherman's self-preservation instinct.
