As part of the fire prevention campaign "For Safety Together," employees of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations, as part of inspection commissions, conducted another joint raid to survey the housing stock. This time, the Volosovichsky and Slobodskoy rural councils of the Lepel district were the focus of prevention efforts.
During the comprehensive inspection of households, special attention was paid to the condition of stove heating, chimneys in attic spaces, and electrical wiring. All residents were explained the consequences of non-compliance with fire safety rules in residential buildings and structures, and tragic cases were cited. In houses where autonomous fire alarms were absent, it was recommended to acquire this device as soon as possible.
Homeowners whose houses had violations identified were issued recommendations for their elimination.
Similar raids will continue. And those homeowners who do not want to become victims of fire should once again carefully inspect their homes, attics, and outbuildings. And, upon noticing any malfunctions, eliminate them immediately.
